Asset Transfer

The process of moving ownership of a digital asset - domain, hosting, files, or accounts - from seller to buyer.

Asset transfer covers everything required to hand a digital asset from seller to buyer: registrar (domain) push or auth-code transfer, hosting account or file migration, and access to any related accounts (analytics, ad accounts, email lists) included in the sale.

Transfer typically happens after funds are secured in escrow, and listing pages note what transfer steps are included so a buyer knows what to expect after a deal is agreed.
