Escrow

A neutral third-party service that holds a buyer's payment until the seller confirms the asset has been transferred.

In a digital-asset sale, escrow protects both sides of the transaction: the buyer's funds are held by a neutral third party until the domain, site, or files have actually been transferred, and the seller isn't required to hand over the asset before payment is secured.

Shop Digital Property does not process payment directly. When an inquiry turns into a deal, the buyer and seller are connected with an escrow or transfer partner to complete the transaction safely.

After a buyer's inquiry on a website listing is accepted, funds are placed in escrow, the domain is transferred, and escrow releases payment to the seller once the transfer is confirmed.
